The current administration, headed by Valdis Dombrovskis (New Era), “is trying to condescend to the people, by saying to the people that everything will be fine.” But it’s risky to live off credit, because the money that is borrowed must be returned in the near future or sooner.

Slesers was critical of other political parties’ nominees to be prime minister. Roberts Zile (For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK) is become stuck in Brussels and does not actually want to get out of his comfortable chair in the European Parliament and take office as the premier of Latvia which means he will have to be more arduous and work receive a lower salary, Slesers said.

The Union of Greens and Farmers’ candidate Aivars finds himself in the same predicament and isn’t going to be leaving Ventspils in which he feels comfortable, to take on the job of being the premier in Riga.

Ainars Slesers Ainars Slesers Slesers stated that For The Cause of Good Latvia is prepared to work with Janis Urbanovics with Harmony Center. Although Urbanovics has extensive experience working in parliament, he is not qualified to serve as prime minister because of his lack of business experience.

Dombrovskis is the only candidate to be voted by those who agree with the current “international Financial Occupation of Latvia”.

Slesers, on the other hand will demonstrate to people how to earn money and conquer international markets all while maintaining dignity. Slesers will be looking to Ulmanis as an advisor, he stated. Slesers added that For A Good Latvia would see Biblical Studies included in all schools starting September 1, 2012.

After the meeting, For A Good Latvia representatives took part in the laying of flowers at Freedom Monument.
