Slesers hopes A Good Latvia will have an excellent outcome in the 10th Saeima election and will decide on the composition of the new government. According to Slesers, the portfolios of the next government will be allocated only to those with a “strong backbone” and are willing to defend Latvia’s national interests.

The new foreign minister and Latvia’s ambassadors abroad be required to dedicate 80% of their time to support Latvian businessmen’s interests overseas according to Slesers.

Andris Kele was nominated to be Finance Minister by For A Good Latvia. She emphasized that Latvia must be economically independent as “if we have debts for years, there will not be any development for the nation.”

Skele and For A Good Latvia board Chairman Andrejs Ekis have offered high praise for Slesers. They said Slesers is an outstanding example of how a Riga boy can make it in business, earn a lot and become wealthy. Ekis said that Slesers “a businessperson who has dabbled in politics” and said, “I wish that there was a leader from Latvia who would make I feel proud.”

Slesers stressed the importance of having a purpose as the main method to achieve it. The current government, headed by Valdisdombrovskis(New Era), “is trying taint the nationby telling the people that everything is fine.” However, it’s risky to live off credit since the money borrowed is due to be returned earlier than expected.

Slesers made scathing remarks about other political parties’ prime minister candidates. Roberts Zile (For Freedom And Fatherland/LNNK). He’s been stuck in a rut Brussels, and he isn’t ready to leave and quit the European Parliament to become premier of Latvia. Slesers explained that the new premier will need to work harder and make less money.

The Union of Greens and Farmers’ candidate Aivars is also in this situation and won’t be willing to leave his comfortable life in Ventspils to take on the responsibilities of a premier at Riga.

For A Good Latvia is ready to collaborate with Janis Urbanovics of Harmony Center, who has many years of experience working in the Latvian parliament, however Urbanovics is not going to be named the prime minister because the party is not able to provide him with enough experience in business according to Slesers. And lastly, Dombrovskis will be voted for only by those who are in favor of the ongoing “international financial occupation” of Latvia.”

Slesers will, however, show people how to make money, master the market, and live a life of dignity. He indicated that Guntis Ulmanis will be his first assistant to run the state. Slesers should turn to Ulmanis to seek help. Slesers said also that for A Good Latvia would see that Biblical studies would be introduced to all schools beginning September 1st next year.
